Suspect wanted in Dairy Queen armed robbery in Port Huron

(PORT HURON) — Port Huron Police say an unknown suspect is wanted after an armed robbery Tuesday evening at the Dairy Queen, located at 1220 Military Street in Port Huron. The suspect entered the restaurant just after 6:30 p.m. and ordered a blizzard. As the clerk rang up the purchase, the suspect pulled out a machete and told the clerk to back up. The suspect then reached into the register drawer and stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene. Police say there were no injuries in the heist. The suspect was described as a white man, possibly in his mid 20’s, and about 6′ tall. He had his face covered with a gray scarf or handkerchief with skulls on it. A $500 cash reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
