The Sanilac County Historical Society is calling all fun people to join them for a safe, social-distanced, outdoor adventure!  On October 3rd, the Society will be hosting History Mystery Thumb Cemetery Tours, with tours at 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm.

When asked where the tours will take place, Museum Administrator Dawn Malek says, “Not telling. It’s a mystery.” Likewise, when asked what guests can expect on the tour, Malek says again, “Not telling. It’s a mystery.”  What she will tell us though , is that those who like history and enjoy Halloween thrills, will love this tour.

Tour guests will meet at the Museum where they’ll receive an itinerary and a box lunch, which is included in the $30 ticket price.  All proceeds will benefit the Sanilac County Historical Society.  Guests are asked to bring:

Your car with a full gas tank.

A cooler for the box lunch (es).

A mask, the entire event will be hosted outside, including lunch.  But there may be times when maintaining social distance is more difficult.

Good walking shoes, or boots. There won’t be a lot of walking, but there will be some.

An umbrella if it’s drizzly, Warm Clothes; dress in layers!

Your sense of humor and love of fun!
