The Sandusky Jr/Sr High School will be holding their first ever First Responder’s Appreciation Night.  The event will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at our Sandusky/Marlette Boys basketball game.  The JV game begins at 6:00 pm with the Varsity game following about 7:30 pm.  At this game, all first responder’s (past and present) and their families get free admission to the game (just identify yourselves at the door and wear clothing representative of your agency) Along with this, they will use this evening as a recruiting event for all our First Responding Agencies around Sanilac County.  We wish to have representatives from all agencies (Fire, EMS, and Police) in attendance and to set up information tables in our Mark S. Hund Gymnasium, where spectators (students and adults) can get more information on joining these First Responder organizations.  This would be a great opportunity for students to talk with the men and women who have chosen this path.

Also during the halftime of the Varsity Game, all first responders will be asked to step to the middle of the gym floor to be recognized for their service.  We will provide tables and chairs.  Please let us know if you would like us to supply anything else.  What you wish to display at your table is completely up to you.
