(SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP) -- There were no injuries reported after a semi hauling a top section to a wind turbine cut it too close at the corner of Wadsworth and McMillan Roads causing the section to twist onto its side. The incident took place just before 12:30 p.m. Monday afternoon in Huron County's Sheridan Township. Sheriff's deputies responded and learned that the driver was heading north on McMillan Road. As he attempted to turn left onto Wadsworth, the rear wheels attached to the section of the wind turbine slid into the ditch. The semi truck suffered significant damage.
