(AREA) -- New data suggests that several Michigan markets are among the national leaders in per capita income growth. The report showed that per capita income in the 83rd House District served by State Representative Paul Muxlow of Brown City was up. St Clair County was up 1.8% in 2010-2011, after dropping 3.6% between 2007 and 2010, while income growth in Sanilac County increased 4.8% in 2010-2011, following an 8.4% increase between 2007 and 2010. Representative Muxlow says tough reforms in Lansing have helped pushed economic growth across Michigan. Per capita income is often used as average income, a measure of the wealth of the population of a nation, particularly in comparison to other nations.
