(FLYNN TOWNSHIP) -- A 25-year old Snover man was arrested Tuesday after he was caught allegedly stealing cattle from a Flynn Township resident in the 4600 block of Cade Road. The owner of the cattle, Matthew Sutton, informed Sanilac County Sheriff's deputies that he purchased 10 Holstein cattle from the Cass City Stock Yards on Monday. Sutton said that he noticed four of his cattle were missing Tuesday afternoon and filed a police report. At 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the suspect was found on Sutton's property with five feeder calves loaded into the back of the suspect's trailer. Deputies took the Snover man into custody. He remains jailed on a $10,000 bond and faces charges of larceny over $1,000 and probation violation. His name is being withheld pending arraignment.
