(DECKERVILLE) -- Deckerville School board members approved the annual audit Monday as presented with reported revenues of $5.2 million and expenditures of $5 million, resulting in an increase to the Fund Balance of $178,832. The Fund Balance as of June 30 ended with $2.4 million.
The board adopted a resolution of commendation for the elementary staff and administration for "Beating the Odds." This is the third year in a row Deckerville Elementary has been recognized as "Beating the Odds" by helping students achieve above expected levels of learning.
In other business, board members approved the high bids of $2,373 from Kalamazoo Recycling for the 2000 Freightliner bus and $2,865 from Trans Specialists for the 2001 Freightliner bus.
