Educators, sign up now to reserve a date & time for your students to attend the 18th annual School Tours at Thumb Octagon Barn & Agricultural Museum, Gagetown. This educational field trip - for PreSchool through 8th Grade - allows the children to participate in up to 24 stations, based on age/grade levels, that depict rural Michigan in the early 1900’s; plus live farm animals in the Barn. The guided tours will be held during the school day on Wednesday, May 8th, Thursday, May 9th, and Friday, May 10th. Tours take about 4 1/2 hours, but shorter tours can be scheduled. Each student/chaperone brings their own lunch/beverage. Tours begin at 8:30am & every half hour thereafter with last tour beginning at 1pm each day. Donation is $2 per student & chaperone. Tours held rain or shine. |
