FREE Diabetes Prevention Class – Tuesday, December 4th, from 1 to 3:30pm, at MRH East Campus. November was American Diabetes Month, in recognition the Education Department of Marlette Regional Hospital is offering FREE diabetes prevention classes to help stop diabetes before it starts. Non-diabetic, pre-diabetic or at risk patients are invited to participate in a class that will teach steps to help prevent the disease. Estimates project that as many as 1 in 3 American adults will have diabetes by the year 2050 unless action is taken now.
