A 25-year-old Port Huron man was arrested for assault and battery last Friday, January 12.

That evening, St. Clair County Sheriff’s deputies were summoned to Port Huron’s Port of Call mobile home park for a possible domestic disturbance. Officers were told that a man in the home had a weapon and was not letting other residents leave the home.

With deputies able to confirm who was in the home, the St. Clair County Special Response Team was called for assistance. However, upon their arrival, the man, 25-year-old Jordan Connick of Port Huron, exited the home without issue and was taken into custody.

Connick was charged with a felony weapons offense, as well as assault and battery.  He remains at St. Clair County Detention and Intervention Center on a $30,000 bond (no 10%).
