Peck Schools hire former Superintendent on interim basis -- Thursday, July 29 2010

(PECK) -- The Peck School Board met in special session Wednesday night and selected their former Superintendent to fill in on an interim basis as they begin the search for a permanent Superintendent. Mike Tubbs will assume the duties he left 5-years ago after retiring. Tubbs, who served the Peck District for 26-years, will start Monday morning. Tubbs stated that the board is working with Tim Edwards of the Michigan Leadership Institute and the position is expected to be posted Monday. Board members are hoping to have the spot filled in two months. Current Superintendent Dave Bush resigned last week after accepting the Birch Run Schools Superintendent position.
