(MARLETTE) -- Marlette Hospital Auxiliary's 4th Annual "Home for Christmas Walk" was attended by 144 guests who enjoyed the decorated homes of Shane and Sarah Kady, Diane Peplinski, and Robert and Theresa Dove's A Dove Nest Bed and Breakfast. Proceeds from the walk will be used to purchase a blanket warmer for Long-term Care residents at Marlette Regional Hospital. Several Marlette shops were open for business after hours to allow residents the chance to do a little holiday shopping. Marlette Historical Society members opened the Marlette Train Depot, all decked out for the season, serving warm beverages and pastries.
PICTURED: Three members of the Marlette Historical Society: Pat Boegner, Carleen Foster and Pat Izydorek and others volunteered time and energy to open the handsomely trimmed Marlette Train Depot for visitors on the Christmas Walk evening. The Society graciously served pastries and beverages and also sold tickets for two beautiful raffle items.
