LOS ANGELES (AP) - FBI files on Marilyn Monroe have now turned up. But while the documents are new, they haven't turned up any real light on how the Hollywood starlet died. The documents - which had been missing before - revealed the names of some of the movie star's communist-leaning friends. But the records don't contain any new information about Monroe's death 50 years ago. Letters and news clippings in the files show the bureau was at least aware of theories the actress had been killed, but they do not show that any effort was made to investigate those claims. Los Angeles authorities concluded Monroe's death was a probable suicide.
