(CARO) -- State Representative-Elect Terry Brown of Pigeon took the oath of office this week in Caro. Brown, a Democrat, will take office on January 1 and begin serving the residents of Michigan's 84th House District. Brown stated that he was honored that the voters of Huron and Tuscola counties sent him back to Lansing after 2-years away from the Legislature. Tuscola County Circuit Court Judge Amy Grace Gierheart administered the oath of office at a ceremony at the Tuscola Tech Center in Caro. Brown was joined at the swearing in by family and friends. Terry Brown is looking forward to helping middle-class families, restoring funds to education and protecting seniors when he gets back to work in January.
