(ST. CLAIR COUNTY) -- Two drug raids this week in St. Clair County netted heroin, methamphetamine, cash and a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The first search warrant was executed Wednesday afternoon in a parking lot at 24th and Union Streets in Port Huron. Drug Task Force Officers made contact with suspected dealers and seized heroin packaged for distribution and valued at $435, paraphernalia, and over $500 in cash. A 22-year old Yale man, 25-year old Kimball Township man and a 32-year old Port Huron woman were arrested and remain jailed on drug charges.
The second raid took place in the 7100 block of Sparling Road in Kimball Township Thursday night. An investigation into the manufacturing and sale of meth led officers on a traffic stop at Taylor and Sparling Road. Two men inside the vehicle had approximately $100 of methamphetamine on them. Officers then found evidence of a meth lab at the home. The 28 and 35 year old men, both from Kimball Township, were arrested and lodged in St. Clair COunty jail on several drug-related charges.
