(WATERTOWN TOWNSHIP) -- The Sanilac County Drug Task Force is investigating a meth lab located in Sanilac County's Watertown Township early Friday morning following a citizen tip. Officers raided the residence at around 4:30 a.m. and seized three packets of methamphetamine. Investigators also discovered components of a meth lab in the garage and indications that some evidence may have been destroyed or moved prior to law enforcement arrival. The investigation revolves around a 35-year old Sandusky man. Investigators believe the suspect is the same person responsible for another meth lab site raided last week. The suspect was arrested on scrap metal theft charges and remains jailed. An investigation continues and more warrant requests are pending. Drug Task Force officers were assisted by the Sanilac County Sheriff's Department during the raid.
