(CROSWELL) -- The 24-year old Croswell area man accused in the death of his 4-month old son was sentenced Monday in Sanilac County Circuit Court. Robert Droelle will spend up to 15-years in prison, but no less than 4-years 9-months after a no contest plea to involuntary manslaughter. Droelle will receive credit for 231 days served. A no contest plea is not an admission of guilt, but treated as such for sentencing. Droelle had been charged with second-degree murder in the death of baby Jordan Droelle. Investigators and the physician that treated Jordan said his fatal injuries were consistent with being shaken. Jordan was flown to DMC Children's Hospital in Detroit on April 2nd and died a week later. Sanilac County Prosecutor James V. Young says that this was a tragic case for both families involved and was easily preventable.
