(LINCOLN TOWNSHIP) -- Huron County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 48-year old man Thursday morning at his Verona Road home after a search warrant netted a large quantity of new and used electrical construction supplies. Sheriff Kelly Hanson says the warrant was the result into a lengthy investigation into thousands of dollars in stolen electrical construction items, which were taken from the ITC Electric Substation last month. Bad Axe Police assisted in the raid at 2205 N. Verona Road. The suspect, Rodney Koglin, was taken into custody on an unrelated misdemeanor charge of larceny, stemming from a theft that took place a the Wallace Stone Quarry in Winsor Township on June 27. Koglin was released from jail after posting bond. The construction items were seized as the investigation continues.
