LOS ANGELES (AP) - Police are looking into whether Michael Jace's financial troubles led to the death of his wife, April. Jace has been arrested on suspicion of shooting his wife to death during an argument. Jace is suspected of shooting his wife several times. Their two sons, who are younger than 10, were at home when the shooting happened. Police say Jace declared bankruptcy in 2011 and hadn't been able to pay his bills as recently as December. Jace played police officer Julien Lowe on "The Shield." His character was known for his high morals. But he got into trouble when officers found out he was gay. Jace was also in four episodes of "Southland," played one of the Black Panthers in "Forest Gump" and starred in a TV movie about Michael Jordan in 1999.
