Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Solange release joint statement to the AP

NEW YORK (AP) - The last time most of us saw Jay Z, Beyonce and Solange - they were involved in an elevator dustup. But now, they are saying that everything is cool among them. The three released an exclusive statement to The Associated Press yesterday, in which they say "families have problems" - and theirs is no different. The video shows Solange launching a series of punches, slaps and kicks against the rap star - while Jay-Z tries to fend off the attack and Beyonce looks on. A security guard finally got them separated. The statement says while the incident has led to a lot of speculation about what went down, everyone "has worked through it." One person hasn't though. The employee who the hotel says provided the security video to TMZ.com has been identified - and fired.
