(HOMESTEAD, FLORIDA) -- Brad Keselowski finished 15th in the Sprint Cup finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway and that was good enough to claim his first series championship. Roger Penske also collected his first owner's championship at stock car racing's highest level. The kid who stole the show at the season-opening Daytona 500 ended the year under the biggest spotlight of them all Sunday. Keselowski beat five-time champion Jimmie Johnson to deliver the first Sprint Cup championship to Penske Racing. He began the day with a 20-point lead over Johnson, who faded to 36th. Keselowski finished the season 39 points ahead of Clint Bowyer and 40 up on Johnson. Jeff Gordon won the race.
