LOS ANGELES (AP) - Viewers get input on "American Idol" twice this week. Tonight, of course, someone will be sent home based on the viewers' votes. Last night, Idol fans got to make song choices for the top five. Each did two songs. Harry Connick Junior loved Alex Preston's emotional struggle on "Say Something." The judges praised Jena (JEE'-nah) Irene's energy on "My Body." But usual favorite Caleb Johnson got some critical comments. Connick thought he was playing to the camera too much.
