(ST. CLAIR COUNTY) -- A fugitive wanted for armed robbery in Port Huron has been captured. Port Huron Police say 24-year old Daniel Myers was arrested Thursday in the area of 8-mile and I-75 in Highland Park after a brief foot chase. Myers was wanted on charges related to an armed robbery at the Days Inn on Pine Grove Avenue in Port Huron on March 20 and for parole absconding. He remains jailed in St. Clair County on a five count felony warrant for armed robbery, first-degree home invasion, possession of a firearm by a felon, felony firearm, and fourth offense habitual offender. His bond has been set at $250,000. The capture was the result of a team effort between the Port Huron Police Department NET unit and the Michigan Department of Corrections Parole Absconder Unit.
