(SANDUSKY) -- The Sandusky Chamber of Commerce held their "Citizen of the Year Banquet Saturday, March 15 at Woodland Hills in Sandusky. A large crowd was on hand to honor Ginny Bissett as Citizen of the Year. Honored as the Civic Samaritan of the Year was Sandusky City Manager Dave Faber. The Volunteer of the Year is business owner Mark Heberling. Sanilac Broadcasting Company was selected as the Business of the Year and the Golden Hammer Recipients were Graff Chevrolet Buick, Tri-County Equipment, Ball Equipment, Buck-It Sporting Goods, Crop Production Services, and Jensen Bridge. The honorees will be recognized for their hard work and dedication to the community.
