Caro Post MSP Troopers support the 2014 Polar Plunge

(TUSCOLA COUNTY) -- Nine members of the Michigan State Police Caro post participated Saturday in the 2014 Polar Plunge in Caro to raise money for Special Olympics. The annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge series in known for its zany costumes and courageous participants. The troopers personalized their costumes based off the popular TV series Duck Dynasty and used the team name "Blue Goose Dynasty. They were awarded the Golden Plunger Award for best costumes and an award for most money raised. The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
