ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - The University of Michigan Board of Regents is expected to consider whether to approve a new administrative position that would focus on enrollment management. Provost Martha Pollack wants the regents to sign off on the associate vice president's job at a meeting Thursday in Ann Arbor. According to The Ann Arbor News, Pollack announced the position in a campus-wide email last month in which she promised to hire someone to help recruit qualified minority students to the university. The board also is scheduled to take up a request to allow the school's head football coaching job to become an endowed position. If approved, Brady Hoke would become the J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head Football Coach. The Harris family is donating $10 million.
