(GAGETOWN) -- Area educators are reminded to sign up now to reserve a date and time for students to attend the 19th annual School Tours at the Thumb Octagon Barn & Agricultural Museum in Gagetown. The year's theme is "Michigan Apples. The guided tours will be held during the school day Wednesday through Friday, May 7-9. The educational field trip for preschool through 8th grade allows students to participate in up to 28 stations that depict rural Michigan in the early 1900's. Tours take about 4 1/2 hours, but shorter tours can be scheduled. A donation of $2.00 per student and each chaperone is suggested. Tours are held rain or shine.
