(AREA) -- Michigan's seasonally adjusted unemployment is little changed in the latest monthly report, standing at 7.7 percent. The Department of Technology, Management and Budget said Thursday that the statewide unadjusted jobless rate for December was down 0.1 percentage points from November's 7.8 percent. The rate has fallen 1.2 percentage points from December 2012's 8.9 percent. In the Thumb region, Huron County has the lowest rate at 7.7 percent. St. Clair County has 9.4 percent unemployment, 9.7 percent in Tuscola County, 9.9 in Sanilac, and Lapeer County has the highest rate in the Thumb at 10.1 percent unemployment. The state says the increases reflect fairly typical seasonal employment changes.
