BURBANK, Calif. (AP) - Jay Leno got a surprise on the "Tonight" show last night. He was serenaded by Bill Maher and Seth MacFarlane. It was a take-off on the song Bette Midler did for Johnny Carson as he left as host of the show. Maher and MacFarlane did a parody of "Thanks for the Memory." It included the line, "I bet my socks, you'll turn up on Fox." The song also poked fun at the rivalry with David Letterman. The guys sang, "The beating that you gave. You crushed him in the ratings, and you'll carry it to your grave." Leno ends his 22-year-run on the Tonight show next week. NBC is replacing him with Jimmy Fallon.
