TORONTO (AP) - Justin Bieber's legal problems have now spread to his home country. The teen singer was charged yesterday with assault. He's accused of hitting a Toronto limousine driver several times in the back of the head last month. The Beeb turned himself into a Toronto police station, arriving amid a crush of news reporters and screaming fans. Authorities say the singer was one of six people picked up by a limousine driver from a club early December 30. On the way to a hotel, there was an altercation - and the driver complains that he was hit several times in the back of the head. The driver says the person who did the hitting fled the limo before police arrived. Bieber is to return to court in Toronto on March 10.
