(AREA) -- Current 84th District State Representative Terry Brown has announced his intentions to run for State Senator. Brown, a Democrat from Pigeon, is seeking the 25th Senate District seat, which will include St. Clair, Sanilac and Huron counties, as well as a part of Macomb County after redistricting. Representative Brown is serving his third term as State Representative. He worked for the Huron Intermediate School District for 23-years prior to throwing his hat into the political ring. Incumbent Senator Phil Pavlov, a Republican from St. Clair Township, has not yet announced his decision to seek re-election.
