(SANILAC TOWNSHIP) -- Sanilac County Sheriff's deputies say alcohol is suspected in a crash that injured two men Tuesday afternoon. The crash took place just before 4 p.m. along M-25, south of Basler Road in Sanilac Township. Deputies say a minivan driven by an 80-year old Port Sanilac man was traveling south on M-25 when he lost control of his vehicle and went into the oncoming lane of traffic, colliding with a northbound van driven by a 30-year old Kinde man. Authorities say the Kinde man was treated at the scene and released with minor injuries. The 80-year old man was transported by EMS to a local hospital with minor injuries. Names are being withheld pending criminal charges. The crash remains under investigation. Deputies were assisted by Sanilac EMS and Port Sanilac Fire and Rescue.
