State Representative Kevin Daley maintains perfect voting record for 5th year in a row

(LAPEER) -- State Representative Kevin Daley of Lum maintained a perfect voting record for the 2013 legislative session, his 5th perfect year in a row, heading into his 6th and final year as a state representative due to term limits. Daley was present for all 534 record roll call votes during the session. Wednesday, January 8 marked the first official day of session for 2014. Daley says being present for votes is the best way to be a voice for residents and make sure their interests are fought for and protected. Representative Daley will continue to lead the House Agriculture Committee and is a member of the House Committees on Education, Local Government, and Transportation. Daley chalks his perfect record up to a farmer's mentality--you just wake up each day and get to work because things have to get done.
