(CHANDLER TOWNSHIP) -- DTE Energy Co. plans to resume power production at a wind park in Huron County after officials determined why a blade broke on one turbine. DTE spokesman Scott Simons says that it will slowly bring Echo Park back online as it inspects each blade to make sure no other parts are affected. The Detroit-based utility earlier halted power production at the turbine in Chandler Township. General Electric makes the blades and said a manufacturing irregularity led to the Nov. 8 blade break. Sixty of the 70 planned turbines are in place and were producing electricity until the accident. The utility also halted construction on the remaining 10 turbines.
