NEW YORK (AP) - The sailing trip John Lennon took to Bermuda six months before he died is now the subject of an app. "John Lennon: The Bermuda Tapes" allows users to simulate the six-day journey by reliving the memories of Lennon himself through an interview he gave to Playboy magazine, as well as interviews with two crew members. Users can also visit a virtual disco where Lennon heard "Rock Lobster" by The B-52's, which reminded him of Yoko Ono's music and inspired his creativity. The app also features Lennon's creative process as he worked on the "Double Fantasy" album. The app is available now for Apple devices and sells for $4.99. Proceeds will benefit the charity WhyHunger.
