(WORTH TOWNSHIP) -- Sanilac County Sheriff's deputies say alcohol is believed to be a factor in a single vehicle crash that happened Wednesday evening along M-25 near Mortimer Line Road in Worth Township. A citizen called 9-1-1 just after 5 p.m. to report a southbound vehicle traveling all over the roadway. A short time later, the caller reported that the vehicle struck a Detroit Edison pole. Deputies say that a 28-year old Deckerville woman struck the pole, causing it to snap in two. Wires came down on the vehicle. The woman was taken to Port Huron Hospital by Croswell EMS for treatment of non-life threatening injures. The crash remains under investigation and the driver's name is not being released pending formal criminal charges.
