(PORT HURON) -- A Lexington woman accused of making false allegations of rape has been scheduled to go to trial on December 3 in St. Clair County. 38-year old Sara Ylen appeared for a plea hearing Monday. She is accused of filing a false felony report and tampering with evidence. Authorities say Ylen falsely accused two men of rape last September in her Lexington home and used makeup to create what looked like bruises. Judge Daniel Kelly pushed the trial's start into December at the request of prosecutors, who say that will accommodate the needs of witnesses coming from California. In a separate case, Ylen is charged with four counts of false pretense, using a computer to commit a crime and health care fraud in Sanilac County. She is accused of deceiving an insurance company and the public into believing that she had cancer. Ylen's final pretrial conference in Sanilac County Circuit Court is set for January 27, 2014 with a trial date tentatively scheduled for February 4.
