ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - The last connection in Michigan football to Bo Schembechler is retiring at the end of this season. The Detroit Free Press reports that Jon Falk was hired as equipment manager by Schembechler in 1974. He has been on the sidelines for every game except for a few games in 2005 after he suffered a broken leg during a game against Iowa. He has seen many changes over the years but his relationship with the players has remained strong. The 64-year-old says he has heard from many former players since he announced his plans in July. They have called, written and visited. Falk says he's "the last Bo guy." But he will be glad to get on with his life when the season is over in three months.
