(MELVIN) -- Following the 9th Annual Hog Town Run, a major fundraising event sponsored by Hog Town Inc. of Melvin, Michigan-members of Hog Town Inc. presented United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital with a substantial donation of $14,000. Each year, the annual fundraiser attracts participation from serious and casual motorcyclists throughout the state of Michigan. For the past 8-years, all of the proceeds have been donated to United Hospice Service to assist in providing care to patients and their families regardless of insurance coverage. Including this year's donation, Hog Town Inc. has contributed over $100,000 to the hospice program. United Hospice is a non-profit hospice that serves Sanilac, Lapeer, Huron, Tuscola and St. Clair counties.
