(IMLAY CITY) -- Imlay City Police and the Lapeer County Sheriff's Department are investigating a robbery that took place at Talmer Bank located on S. Cedar Street in Imlay City Friday, September 13 just before 5 p.m. Authorities say the male suspect approached and departed the bank by foot. Investigators say that the suspect was on the westbound I-69 entrance ramp at M-53 in Imlay City following the robbery. It is believed that the suspect traveled west on I-69 in an unknown make or model of vehicle. The suspect is described as a white man with a dark complexion or hispanic decent, between 35 and 45-years old, approximately 5'10" tall, weighing between 175 and 200 pounds. He was described as having a wider nose and a goatee. He was wearing a red colored wig, dark sunglasses, a white long sleeve shirt and a light colored stocking hat at the time of the heist.
