Croswell men arraigned on home invasion charges

(SANILAC COUNTY) -- The two Croswell area men accused in a rash of home invasions in Sanilac County were arraigned Tuesday. Both 18-year old Anthony Fredrick Gordon and 19-year old Michael Anthony Gremel have been charged with home invasion second-degree, larceny in a building, and receiving and concealing stolen property less than $200. Gordon and Gremel remain jailed on bonds set at $10,000 cash/surety. The pair was arrested September 21 by Michigan State Police Troopers from the Caro Post, following a home invasion in Elk Township. A lengthy investigation revealed five additional breaking and enterings, 13 malicious destruction of property incidents and one larceny that occurred in Speaker and Maple Valley Townships. Gordon and Gremel are scheduled to appear for a preliminary exam in Sanilac County District Court Tuesday, October 16 at 1:30 p.m.
