Lions OL Fox injures groin in opener

DETROIT (AP) - Lions offensive tackle Jason Fox left Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings because of a groin injury. His return is questionable. Detroit is trying to replace both starting tackles from last season after Jeff Backus retired and Gosder Cherilus left via free agency. Fox and 2012 first-round draft pick Riley Reiff are expected to play bigger roles this year. Fox left in the first quarter against Minnesota. Corey Hilliard is the next man on the depth chart at right tackle.
