EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Mark Dantonio wouldn't identify Michigan State's starting quarterback for Saturday's game with South Florida. The same two names are listed atop the depth chart this week: Senior starter Andrew Maxwell and sophomore backup Connor Cook, who were 17 for 37 combined for just 116 yards in a 26-13 win over Western Michigan last Friday. Freshmen Tyler O'Connor and Damion Terry did not play. Dantonio said Tuesday he wouldn't answer questions about ranking the players, in part to avoid a "media circus." The Spartans will have a change at wide receiver after a bunch of dropped passes. Sophomore Macgarrett Kings will make his first career start in place of senior Bennie Fowler against South Florida, which allowed 51 points in its loss to McNeese State.
