(AREA) -- October 7-13 is National 4-H Week and Sanilac County is celebrating those 4-H members that have made an impact on the community and are stepping up to the challenges of a changing world. Sanilac County 4-H has 58 clubs with more than 800 youth and 400 dedicated volunteers who work in more than 50 project areas. 4-H is dedicated to teaching life skills through an array of project areas such as science, engineering, and technology, which includes projects like sewing, plant science, vet science, and community service. The re-enrollment deadline for past 4-Hers and 4-H leaders is December 1, 2012. Current 4-H Club Administrative leaders have re-enrollment forms. New 4-H enrollment is June 3, 2013 and forms are available at the Sanilac County MSU Extension Office in Sandusky.
