NEW YORK (AP) - Valerie Harper is beating the odds as she continues to be treated for terminal brain caner. Her doctor tells the "Today" show that she's "pretty close to remission." He says that "defies the odds." Doctors gave her three months to live. That was six months ago. But it still doesn't mean she's in the clear. He says the cancer will eventually develop a resistance to the therapy. So he says it's "not a matter of if, it's a matter of when" she'll have a relapse.
