NASHVILLE (AP) - Alan Jackson's 20-year-old daughter has been accused of hitting a police officer and then using her father's name as leverage. Alexandra Jane Jackson has been charged with assault, underage drinking and resisting arrest during a traffic stop in Nashville yesterday. Police say she was irate and refused to stay in the car, and she struck an officer. The police affidavit says Jackson resisted when officers cuffed her. As she was booked into the jail, she told the officer her father "would do anything I wanted him to do." WSMV-TV reports she was released early yesterday. Alan Jackson's spokeswoman had no comment.
