Arrest made in McDonald's Break-In

(FORT GRATIOT TOWNSHIP) -- Authorities say the suspect in connection to the early morning break-in at the Fort Gratiot Township McDonalds has been arrested. Sheriff Tim Donnellon says 19-year old Sebastian Taylor of Fort Gratiot Township was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon and arraigned Thursday on three counts of breaking and entering with intent and one count each of larceny in a building and malicious destruction of property over $1,000 but less than $20,000. Taylor is accused of breaking into the McDonalds on 24th Avenue just before 2 a.m. Tuesday. Once inside, he damaged computers and cash registers and also stole some food. Authorities say video surveillance helped lead to his arrest. Taylor remains jailed on a $2,500 cash bond. His preliminary exam is set for September 10 at 1:30 p.m.
