(OWENDALE) -- Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson says a thief got away with almost $20,000 in merchandise after breaking into Stack's Market in Owendale early Friday morning. Deputies were sent to the business at around 5 a.m. after the morning employee found the store's front glass door broken out. Several items including cigarettes, liquor, and chewing tobacco totaling between $15,000 and $20,000 was taken. The video shows the suspect entering and leaving a total of seven times. Sheriff Hanson says that at one point, the suspect actually used the store's trash barrel to remove stolen property. The entire heist took almost an hour. Deputies believe the suspect parked near 5th and Mill Streets. The suspect is a man described as wearing a blue winter type jacket with the hood pulled up and tied tight around his face. He was also wearing blue jeans and dark colored gloves. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Huron County Sheriff's Department.
