ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (AP) - Brian Cairns has won the Michigan PGA championship for a third time. The 49-year-old Cairns made a 12-foot birdie putt on No. 18 at Oakland University in Rochester Hills for his first lead, coming back from a six-shot deficit. Cairns shot a 3-under 69 to finish 7-under 209 for the tournament, which he also won in 2000 and 1996. He works as a PGA professional at Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center in Plymouth, Mich. One shot back was Scott Hebert, who's won six of the previous eight Michigan PGA championships. Matt Pesta finished third.
