(MARINE CITY) -- A Michigan judge has set a $100,000 bond for a Canadian scuba diver who was arrested after border patrol agents found 8 pounds of marijuana in a water-tight container tied to a seawall on the U.S. side of the St. Clair River. The PVC cylinder containing the marijuana was found near Marine City. 24-year old Jesse Zunti of Windsor, Ontario was arraigned Wednesday in Marine City District Court on one count of controlled substance, deliver/manufacture marijuana, which is a 4-year felony. A U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman says agents arrested the man in his scuba gear about 1 a.m. Monday after remote camera operators at Selfridge Air National Guard base spotted him. Zunti's preliminary exam is scheduled for September 4 at 9 a.m.
